Food insecurity is a substantial issue for students with the cost of school and housing being as they are.  Pressures to manage their finances and feed themselves are significant for any adult and especially so for students with exams and assignments to focus on as well. Students facing food insecurity are particularly vulnerable.

 

This fall WCM and the members are a food drive for the campus food bank. We will be delivering 1000 bags in the community of Beechwood in Waterloo.

Thank you for help students of WCM help students on campus with the basic need for food.

Food Drive Schedule:

• Volunteers place empty bags on doorsteps - Sat Oct 25

• Volunteers collect filled bags collected - Sat Nov 1ST from 1-3 pm.

• Neighbors - please place your bag on your doorstep AHEAD OF TIME -- by NOON is great.
